Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealand’s longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.
For those who wish for a taste of luxury - try the private pools, sauna, steam rooms, and the luxurious spa. It's all here in an atmosphere that cannot help but reset the balance in life…

Make sure that you allow plenty of time to relax and enjoy Hanmer, Springs and town. A special spot on your South Island discovery.

What a beautiful town that makes you feel like you're overseas in some mountain town in the winter, the locals do tourism well, are friendly and theres plenty of shops to wander around throughout the town. Massage and hot pools, lap pool and hydroslides are amazing x

Hanmer Springs hot pools
Beautiful location to relax in thermal Pools! Well designed and bookme made it cheaper for our large group to be able to go and enjoy them!

Absolutely tranquil and beautiful in one breath. Best Aqua thermal aquatic centre in New Zealand, hands down!!! I love this place and it's a good place to come to when you are wanting to reboot your own body clock. Great for the mind ,body and soul. 10+/10 GOLD STAR RATING.
