Join Dart River Jet for an exhilarating journey like no other deep into the wilderness of Mt Aspiring National Park.
Venturing up the pristine glacier-fed Dart River your expert jet boat driver skilfully negotiates the ever-changing channels and braids. This is a spectacular jet boating adventure including all the action of high speed turns and spins, as well as plenty of stops along the way to check out points of interest and learn about the magical Dart River Valley.
The next part of your expedition takes you downstream by inflatable 'Funyak' canoe to explore the glacial channels of the Dart River its hidden side streams, rock pools, and impressive chasms. 'Funyaking' is a fun way to travel, as well as a more intimate and hands-on way to explore this stunning wilderness area, safely guided by a skilled expert.
You'll stop at a beautiful, remote location along the way to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by spectacular views before continuing downstream by 'Funyak' to 'Paradise'. From here your return journey is via a backcountry route through spectacular locations and scenery used in the famous Lord of the Rings movies.

Breathtaking
Exhilarating Jet boat ride up the glacier streams, great fun to paddle your own Canoe downstream and the best way to take in the breathtaking views of the New Zealand wilderness that are in every direction for the entire trip. Absolute must do.

Great Day out
This is probably the best (and cheapest by the hour) thing to do in QT. The Jetboat ride is fun and informative and the Funyak back down the river is great. Safety is at the front of their minds at all times, so no need to worry. All in all a great way to spend a day in the mountains and river. Recommend A++

Awesome, awesome, awesome
Gorgeous scenery ina wilderness setting, fun and attentive staff and well paced activities. Everything was well planned for a fun filled day, from check in, shuttle ride, picking up gear, the jet boat with just enough 360’s and last but not least the funyak. Don’t think twice, just do it!

Brilliant day out
I'd rate this as one of Queenstowns best adventures to do. What a fantastic team of guides and the trip itself is epic for families or individuals. Best day of my Queenstown holiday so far. Will be hard to best.

Grundsätzlich gute Tour, aber unser Guide hätte beim Funyak fahren besser auf seine Gruppe achten müssen und frühzeitiger die Fahrspur angeben müssen.
