Fly with the largest and most experienced paragliding company in New Zealand…. We’ve been tandem paragliding over Queenstown since 1991!

With a launch site located 2,500 feet above Queenstown at the Skyline Gondola complex, you’ll be in for a treat as you soar above the breathtaking scenery and get an up-close look at the 360° views.

Your choice of a gentle glide or for extra adventure add in a few more tricks.

Photo and video options available on all trips.

We recommend that our guests allow 1.5 hours for the entire experience, including check-in.

Duration

  • Allow approximately 90 minutes for the whole experience

  • Launch Site: Skyline Gondola complex (only a 5-minute walk from central Queenstown)

Restrictions

  • Suitable for people of all ages (moderate level of fitness and agility required).

    Minimum 20kg, maximum 100kg. Weight restrictions can be dependent on client fitness and weather conditions.

Child Friendly

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the weather or anything else out of your control) you will be entitled to a full refund.

  • WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

    Minimum 20kg, maximum 100kg. Weight restrictions can be dependent on client fitness and weather conditions.


    FITNESS

    There is a short walk uphill to the take-off site. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Note that You will be required to disclose any medical conditions, however this doesnt necessarily stop you from flying. Please contact us if you have any questions.


    CLOTHING AND SHOES

    Dress for the conditions and bring a warm jacket. Sturdy shoes are required.


    SKYLINE GONDOLA

    Your gondola pass is not included. Passes can be purchased directly from the Skyline terminal building on the day of your flight. A return pass is issued if you want to come back up the gondola after your flight.


    WEATHER CHECK

    Check our website 30mins before and look for the Open status or call us direct to check that were operating. This should be done BEFORE you come up the gondola.

Was a cool experience and the person that I went with was nice alot of fun would be nice if did not have to wait with everyone the was buying ticket to go back up the golanda tho did some spins could give better information on how to go back to the gondola I use my GPS on my pH as I got told to just go up road was no clear sign on where to go

Thank you for your review Jess , Unfortunately it can be very busy at this time of year in school holidays, so the queue to return back up the Gondola can take a while. Our Landing field at the school is only a short walk away from the base of the Gondola . The Gondola is also clearly visible from the landing field . We are sorry to hear you were confused of where to go but it is always good to have your feedback . We wish You ll the best to you from the GForce Team .

It was an okay experience, was nice to have a birds eye view of the city while gliding above it. But can’t say all the view was amazing… most of the view was of the city under construction and was asked can we go over or close to the lake was told not allowed BUT THE OTHER GLIDERS WITH US AND LATER THROUGH THE DAY WRW FLYING ABOVE THE LAKE.. I wonder why their safety was not considered….. won’t recommend to others …

I would firstly like to guarantee to you that we never fly over the lake Sonia , so please know you did not miss out on this experience at all. It is entirely a misconception of space that it may appear to some that we do . Due to our contracts in place and not being allowed to fly over the lake , we would be breaching civil aviation airspace regulations if we did. The scenery from the Gondola is quite spectacular and quite unique to New Zealand, we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy this . We can assure you safety is our priority .
